High quality hydraulic disc brake suitable for mountain bikes (MTB) with disc brakes. Shimano Saint is a benchmark in the DH discipline! There are few opponents of these monstrous brakes. Used by the world's DH elite, of course they are not the only brakes in the world, but the Saint is a symbol of aggressive descent and incredible security. Engineering thought has gone into the design of these brakes. Shimano doesn't like big issues and for that reason the Saint doesn't tolerate constant changes, but when they do they are not just design but functional. The new for 2013 Saint has several key elements that give it an edge over the competition: • Servo wave lever (the touch and pressure on the lever is unmatched by any other brake except Shimano that uses the same system) • Enlarged ceramic pistons - they significantly lowers the temperature and the transfer of heat to the pads is reduced • Extended "banjo" bolt - the yellow bolt between the device and the hose is longer compared to the Zee in order to keep the mineral oil as low temperature as possible

The brake caliper uses ceramic pistons with an increased diameter to achieve greater stopping power. Runs on mineral oil Mounting: Post Mount (for international standard “IS” you will need an adapter)
