Based on activated silicon compounds, this technology was originally conceived as a performance-level compound, but after intensive development in our research and development department in Korbach has developed a modern new compound with exceptional traction and passability properties. This new rubber compound is named "PureGrip". It ranks just behind our BlackChili compound and is used in our products in both the road and mountain bike sectors. While providing great traction, the compound is also extremely wear-resistant.

ShieldWall System

The ShieldWall system optimally combines high puncture protection with light rolling and low resistance.
Engineered with an extra layer of fine transverse fabric throughout the tire,
the ShieldWall system helps protect the tire from direct punctures and other damage.
The extra ply, perfect fit and secure sealing allow the tire to run smoothly and with good flexibility.
In addition to the ShieldWall system, our tires are also tubeless ready.

Tubeless - tubeless compatibility

The tubeless compatibility technology enables easy placement and reliable use of the tire. The edge of the tire is specially designed to prevent it from leaving the tire. Continental Revo Sealant tubeless tire fluid is recommended.
