Developed on the basis of activated silicon compounds, this technology was originally intended for a compound with all-terrain qualities, but after intensive research at Continental's development and implementation department in Korbach, a new compound with exceptional grip and suitable for cross- country terrains. This new compound, named PureGrip, ranks right behind the Continental-BlackChili flagship and is designed for road and mountain bike tires. PureGrip, although it has very good grip, is also a very long-lasting and robust product - the two characteristics of Continental tires, which are produced exclusively in the factory in Hefei (Asia)
