Angled embedded studs for predictable and easy transitions. The advantage: a high limit range can be reached predictably and safely.
Pronounced positive profile with a large number of contact areas. Advantage: harmonious driving behavior and high grip on hard and slightly loose surfaces.

Our new soft compound option (Soft Compound) BlackChili from our new range of Gravity MTB tires. The balance between roll and traction. High levels of grip with reasonable rolling resistance. This mashup option offers contestants of < strong>DH's choice of a slightly stiffer, longer-lasting compound for the rear wheel or both wheels on enduro and trail bikes to get better value for money from their set of racing tires.
Blackchili the best tire compound from Continental
Continental has developed a blend of newly discovered synthetic rubber with natural rubber and a tread with proven wear resistance. Special nanometric carbon particles have been added to these components in the compound, which are optimized in shape and surface properties for the best using the bicycle tire as intended. The tires with the BlackChili compound achieved an unprecedented level of performance. Compared to previous compounds, such as the one with activated silica, BlackChili tires have 26% less rolling resistance, but 30% more grip and increase mileage by 5%. BlackChili technology never stands still, as it is continuously developed in the scientific departments at the Continental plants in Korbach and adapted to the individual applications of the new Continental tires.
Whether you're on the road or on a mountain bike, speed and traction are very noticeable advantages. Technology is so sensitive that BlackChili tires can only be produced at Continental's factories in Korbach.
Suitable for electric bikes
For our e-bike tire portfolio, we borrow technology from over 100 years of experience in manufacturing and developing our motorcycle tires. All our tires are rated according to a standard index of E25 or E50, respectively 25 / 50 km / h. They have high-quality puncture protection and low rolling resistance.
TR Tubeless Ready - tubeless compatibility
Cameraless compatibility technology enables easy installation and reliable use of the tire. The edge of the tire is specially designed to prevent it from leaving the tire. The use of Continental Revo Sealant tubeless tire fluid is recommended.
Enduro Casing
Durable single layer carcass construction consisting of 110 threads per inch (tpi) wrapped around an aramid bead for an overall 2 ply / 220 tpi sidewall construction and 3 ply / 330 tread construction tpi. In addition, the floating cross-woven ProTection (PT) fabric from the board to the shoulder saves weight compared to the two-layer shell construction, but provides much of the same protective qualities in a lighter construction.
