The perfect new compound

Based on activated silica compounds, this technology was originally intended as a performance-level compound, but after intensive development in our Korbach R&D department, a new advanced compound was developed with exceptional traction and permeability properties. This new rubber compound, given the self-explanatory name "PureGrip", is ranked just behind our BlackChili compound and is used in our performance products in both the road and mountain bike sectors. While it provides great grip, it is also long-lasting and extremely durable - both characteristics of Continental tires, which are manufactured exclusively at the Hefei (Asia) factory.

Our new NyTech puncture protection is developed based on the proven Continental SafetySystem Breaker. Its nylon fabric makes it as puncture and cut resistant as high-strength Kevlar-reinforced fibers, but offers lower rolling resistance and reduced weight. NyTech sits between the SafetySystem and the PolyX Breaker® as a more effective puncture protection housing in the performance sector.
